We are using this as a sofa and optional sleeping spot in our converted school bus/RV. It supports me at 260lbs. I wouldnt use it as a nightly sleeping space many because the center has a high spot due to the hinging spot. I can slightly feel the springs, but a lighter person may not. It is pretty light weight and can lift by myself but its size makes it awkward. The cup holder is handy but they are not deep and feels like if bumped it could spill your drink, but at the same token it is handy and will work if careful.
