I purchased about 4 months ago for my son. I put the bed together myself, took about an hour and 30mins. Id say Im 6/10 on the handiness scale. Id say be sure to read the instructions throughly prior to putting the bed together. A lot of my time was correcting mistakes because I assumed a piece went somewhere it didnt. The bed Is very sturdy. I slept with my son every night for the first few weeks. Im 58 220lbs, hes around 50lbs so the bed can hold a good amount of weight. Definitely a great value.
