Material/Workmanship Issues: Some of the support boards for the bottom bunk were .8 short. I had to go to the hardware store and by 1x3s, cut them to length and countersink holes in order to finish assembly. Also, one of the holes for the barrel nuts in the top bunk wasnt drilled deep enough and caused the threads to strip on the nut. Had to get replacement barrel nuts at the store to complete assembly there. As others have mentioned, several cracks throughout the various boards and surfaces. Issues 1 2 caused assembly to take much of the day with trips back and forth to the store.
Finished product looks nice and meets our needs for now. It remains to be seen how long this bed will last.
