Do not make my mistake and try to assemble this on your own. Can it be done? Yes. Is it worth it? No. There is a reason is recommends two people and youll see immediately upon step one that you need 3/4 hands.
The instructions are bare bone diagrams with no words and leave a lot up to guesswork and luck. Is this the correct side? You dont know until you mess it up. I had to undo and reassemble the first several pieces multiple times. Then when I finally had them together I realized the central bar holding it all together needed rotated 180 degrees. Which I didnt know because the instructions say nothing. Do not make my mistake! Make sure the extra hole on the center bar is facing inward! And use a second person!
Once its assembled its actually a great desk. Very useful for all the things I need to keep track of and charge for my job. Fairly sturdy. If you assemble it with a friend, you may even get to enjoy it without the lingering feelings of resentment every time you look at it for the emotional abuse it put you through while putting it together.
