There's 3 things I look for when shopping online for furniture and this is my feedback on Entryway Console Table: 1. Quality: Is it wood, particle board, etc. This console table is particle board which I understood from the price but it's sturdy and good quality considering. The boards are dense and the laminate is tightly wrapped. There were no chips, peeling, or scrapes that I usually notice upon unboxing and considering how I plan to use this table, I'm pretty sure it will hold up nicely. 2. Set-Up: I was worried about the setup here; free shipping usually means it's broken down as much as possible. There were a good number of parts but the screws and bolts come in individual bags (you have no idea how helpful this is) and they are numbered so you know which screws to use for which areas. The boards are ID'd with stickers and it's really paint by numbers. It took me 45 minutes to do it by myself with a power drill. You will need a flat head and philips head screwdriver; allen wrench is provided. 3. As advertised: The color, presentation, everything is consistent with what I expected, which is a huge relief. Just note: this item is 41 tall which is much taller than your standard console table. I probably would prefer something lower in height but the aesthetics of this were the best that I found and I'm going to be looking at it more than I'll be using it so appearance took priority. The drawers fit snugly and glide smoothly. Overall: Worth every penny. It wasn't a huge risk given the price but once you put something together you kind of forfeit the ability to return it so I was really happy with this piece. It's equivalent to something at Target; it looks nice and is sturdy but doesn't break the bank.
