    So so in comfort.

I put it together (Im 80) in under 10 minutes. The problem began when I was testing the up and down lever ( I wasnt sitting on it) and the chair shot up and then I couldnt get it down. I couldnt get up into the chair because it was too high for me to sit in. I tried leaning over the chair and putting my weight on it and pulling on the lever to get it to go down (thats when I popped a rib) and it wouldnt budge. I went and got the hubby, hes 6 2 and got him to try and sit in the chair and it was a bit too high for him to get on but he leaned over the chair, put his weight on it and pulled the up and down lever and it FINALLY WENT DOWN. Just know if you want it to go up be sure youre sitting in it first so you can get it to go down. It looks nice but its not as comfy as I expected it to be. The chair seat length is very short. Im short 52 and when Im sitting in the chair all the way to the back, the edge of the chair hits me about 6 up my thigh (normal chairs when Im sitting hit me at the back of my knee). I feel like Im falling out of the chair and have to keep scooting back but there is no place to scoot back to. I bought it to use my sewing machine when its on my work bench (34) and a regular chair wouldnt do. Thank goodness I dont have to use it very often or for long periods of time. If youre tall and have long legs itd be best to look at a stool that has a longer seat.
