This is a large umbrella. It is best set up in an open area. You will need to secure the base to the floor with deck screws or weights. I purchased the weights you fill with water or sand. The umbrella is relatively easy to set up, but it is a bit heavy and opened up is a bit top heavy; have your base locked down prior to opening it up.
