We bought this umbrella in the early fall and are very glad to have it. The umbrella is very easy to assemble. My husband spent less than 15 minutes to put all things on. It is very easy to operate as well. It also blocks the sun lights very well. Our patio is facing west so this umbrella is a must in the afternoon. For the base, we ended up with sand bags to keep it sturdy when the umbrella is open.
