sandbags or nailing it to the ground will be essential, difficult to assemble

At first it appeared a part was missing as I could not mount the umbrella properly. However, it turned out that there was a stopper one of the pieces that needed prevented one of the pieces from going in. This required creativity in order to ensure the stopper was out of the way (used a small pencil to secure it in place while sliding in the metal pole). Secondly, the part that is supposed to be used to adjust the direction the umbrella faces is defective! It does not work at all. Lastly, unless you want the sandbag aesthetic, Id recommend getting a regular umbrella with a base it slides into. This was so unnecessarily complicated!! Either that or you need to drill it into the ground/pavement.
