Great value for the price.
Does not work with a box spring as the bed sits too high with one, but the frame underneath seems sturdy enough to go without.
My only complaint is that there is no recession to the frame, so the mattress is able to slide around/off but not the end of the world.
UPDATE: a year after using this bedframe it has become unbearably squeaky. The slightest movement conjures up banshees from the depths of hell.
