Refer to PDF directions, not the paper one in box. The directions in the box are super unclear and vague, but the pdf version goes way more in depth and is what I used to put this together. This is an awesome bed frame and especially so considering the price! Will also mention that two people are needed to put this together well, but technically is possible alone. great product!
