Convenience and price of a futon, but with some extra class
I have to admit, this is classier looking than it has any business being at this price. I have a futon in my office that is much simpler looking than this that I intend to replace with it. As a couch, I really like that the arms bend up with a similar mechanism to the back rest (2 click positions) and the entire thing can be laid flat as an impromptu guest bed or just have one arm rest up like a pillow (shown in 3rd pic). It's not as comfortable as a real couch since the sitting area is actually smaller, but that's expected and true of all the click-back futons like this that I've ever owned. For what it is, this is a definite step up in function and class compared to others I've tried. It was also very fast and easy to assemble, basically attach the feet with included bolts, the middle of which bind the two halves together.
I like it and would recommend it.
