So it is a good height, not too short but still leaves decent headroom with my memory foam mattress. Good quality and i (a 19 y/o petite female) was able to put it together by myself though i wouldnt recommend it. I am 52 and i do have to bend down a bit to stand underneath but not terribly. It wobbles slightly from movement but its not concerning. Gives me plenty of space underneath in my small room to place other furniture. Only thing i will say is the ladder is slightly awkward. There is no opening at the top of the ladder and the rungs hurt my feet a bit because they are round and a bit thinner than that of a normal ladder but still works as intended.
