Me personally, I would prefer that the headboard be taller aesthetically, but my husband is the one who sleeps on it and he loves this bed. (Yes we sleep in separate rooms because we value our sleep!). He loves that its lower to the ground than our old bed frame but not super low to the ground that you have to crawl out. Its been fun finding mid-century decor to go with the room. Not my usual aesthetic but again, my husband wanted it and loves it so it was totally worth it!
