Lets start with saying that im 52 and put this bed together by myself. Im not going to say it was hard to put together but Id recommend having a taller person help you hold the pieces up while you assemble it. Also note that they only give you an L/shaped hand wrench to put this whole bed of a million parts together. If I could change ONE single thing that would have been it, because I couldnt even use my drill to put this together so Im dreading taking it down when I move. BUT overall this is a beautiful sturdy bed. It doesnt make noise or falter duringadult activities. Dont ask me how I know but it can support full body weight on the beams and the rails are resistant to scratches. Really good buy for the price.
