Sturdy as can be! I weigh 320 and have zero problems with the strength of the design. I purchased the taller model and Im glad I did. Its not the type of chair that a large person would want to spend hours on, but for lesser periods of time its completely suitable. Especially handy for fishing, camping or a seat on a small balcony where room is at a premium. Highly recommend this product.
