Great bed, very sturdy - Small mistake on some of the pre-drilled holes
Excellent buy! The bed is great. I didnt like the natural color so I stained it a grey and it looks beautiful. Some of the pre-drilled holes were put in the wrong place so when putting it together the screws (that came from a different direction) hit the other screws and I was not able to completely put the bed together. So now I have to go out and find screws that are shorter that will fit. This was not an error in the way I put it together as it is exactly per instructions. I think the pre-drilled holes just got put a little bit in the wrong spot. Not all holes are pre-drilled so there were some parts that were difficult to put together on the bed. We upgraded and got the fence around 3 sides. It looks really cute but warning - put the fence pickets on the OUTSIDE, not the inside because it makes it impossible to make the bed if they are facing inwards. The seller was very accommodating and quick to respond to emails and was able to rush it for us for an extra fee. It was a pricy bed overall but well constructed for the most part. We are happy overall but was pretty disappointed that the screws didnt fit in the top 4 corners. I still have yet to make it to the hardware store and not sure if I will be able to even find something to match. Oh and the tiny black screws are VERY difficult to screw in because they have such a tiny screw head on them.
