The storage is laughably weak. The sides and bottom of the 2 trundle drawers are a flimsy plastic film. Dont plan to store anything heavier than cotton balls or youre going to over-stress the drawer.
It sounded like marbles were rolling around inside the upholstered sides as I was assembling this. Im not sure what came apart internally during manufacturing or delivery as everything externally looked ok.
The bed looks ok, and if you recognize this is a budget friendly item you wont be surprised by the overall quality. This is a great piece. Bought it for the basement family room and it fits perfectly down there.
