We bought this for our eight year old daughter / she loves it!
The good:
Its easy to put together
It looks great
The top shelf has a lip that prevents things from sliding off and falling on someones head
The hardware has nice details
They included a hole in the backboard allowing for cabling (she charges her ipad on one of the shelves)
The bad:
Its not easy to move once its assembled, because so much of the bed sits directly on the floor
The support under the mattress is extremely light / anyone sitting directly on it would instantly snap it. It relies entirely on the mattress to distribute weight. It does work / as an adult Ive sat on the bed and not had a problem / but Id prefer to see something more stable. That being said, Id still recommend the bed.
