I purchased this as a gift for my daughter. She likes it very much. We looked at several velvet tufted chairs. This one was an excellent value. The stuffing isnt very thick, but its still comfortable. I bought a set of lumbar pillows to match which are really nice to have. You can fill the space behind your back or use both under each arm. Even with the extra pillows the cost for everything was far less than others of the same material and style.
