Simple to put together. I put this together by myself. (Im a 67 yr old short woman.) Um, this did not go together as easily as stated. The instructions could have been clearer. There were a couple of spots where the holes didnt line up, but I had to use a hammer to jam the pieces together anyway, so its sturdy. Just me on the bed (and my cat), no acrobatics, so it should be fine.
First night on the bed. Its solid, quiet, and comfortable. Im just under 5 tall, so this is easy for me to get into and out of.
By the way, dont be intimidated by the large, tall box that says heavy. I managed to move it by myself using a pair of rubber gripping oven mitts, and lifting, putting down, lifting, putting down.
