I am a retired teacher. Bought desks as gifts for 2 families. Both kids love them. Really easy to put together, very nice quality, sturdy and good looking. Really glad we chose this item. is always reliable. Kids do art work, read, do homework, and even eat snacks at their desks. 8 year old boy really liked the lift up storage under the top. Put a piece of cardboard on the top if using indelible markers, just as a precaution. Top cleans well, but dont want to risk staining it.
