The color is subtle and you can accentuate the room in all types of themes; casual, sporty, or glam it up. My dislike is the center support. I've bumped my for on it a few times while putting on the covers. Glad I had on shoes for the occasion. Other than that quite pleased with it and the price.
But sure about sturdiness, it's a guest bed... We shall see.
