Putting it together wasnt really hard, its just time consuming but building anything is like that. I noticed the white paint was kinda chipped on the sides of the crossing bars but it wasnt like a big impact on if I liked my purschase. Overall, if you want simple bookshelfs for space fillers, style, and to house a small collection of books, these shelves are great!
