My boyfriend put this bed together for my Son. It was in many pieces but its very sturdy and looks very nice in his room. He is almost 13 years old about 5 ft 5 and weighs approximately 165lbs. He is very comfortable in this bed snd friends can use trundle for sleep overs. I purchased a good quality memory foam for both. Full-size on top. Twin on trundle. Very happy so far with the new bed.
