This is a sturdy piece but it is not real wood. It was okay to put together. I think instructions could have been clearer. Overall I like it but its not really the color I expected. It looks darker in the photo than it really is. I love the metal on each side tho, really adds to it. Would I buy it if I saw it in person, probably not. Im happy with my purchase
