Perfect for what I needed it for. I have a 2 and a 6 year old. I wanted it close to the ground so if the toddler rolls out of bed it wouldnt be harmful. Bottom bunk is practically on the floor. You will hit your head and back if you try to hit on it then get up lol perfect for my 6 year old too because he can jump for the top of the ladder and not get hurt. Top bunk doesnt touch the ceiling.
HOWEVER, it took A LONG TIME to build! Very frustrating. Lots of little pieces to put together and not always easy to do. But it is very sturdy. Absolutely perfect.
