Very easy to assemble! Its an ok bed for a short amount of time. It does creak constantly whenever you move. Lasted about a year. The bed is not very sturdy but good if you just want something quick and easy for a short amount of time. If you are thinking of going from a normal bed to a loft bed I do not recommend this. Gets real annoying real fast. Especially when you want to change your sheets
