1) assembly: effortless, not too heavy of a product and not too many parts. A couple of minutes is all that is takes
2) comfort: I would say as described, not cloud soft but is sturdy enough for a sofa couch, fine for sleeping

A pretty big and wide chair, if you want to pull it out from the bottom it becomes a twin sized bed. My favorite thing is the covers, there are zippers for each part so you can easily take it off and wash. The color is as described and prettier in person, like a darkish blue grey. It looks great, came separate days but was worth the wait!
