I just took them out for a test to make sure everything was watertight. They are tight around my chest and waist. The boots fit fine. I wear a size 12.5 to 13 shoe and boot. I walked out into the river behind our house. They didnt leak at all. As far as to how they hold up, it is too soon to tell. I also worry about the seam around where its tight as to whether the seam separates at all to form a leak. Only time will tell. I could have used one size bigger around my chest. But then the boots would be too big. Hopefully after I wear them a few times, hopefully they may stretch just a bit without forming a leak. It just takes a bit of getting used to to learn how to walk. It works great! Thank you!
