I received the product yesterday so this is a short term review. The winder looks very nice and is quiet. When I plugged it in it ran for a very short time and stopped i had read previous reviews and they mentioned the same thing. So when all else fails read the manual. The winder is designed to run two minutes and stop for six minutes and reverse diection run two minutes etc etc. The instructions say to have the watch fully wound when putting it on the winder. It seems it maintains but does not wind the watch fully. I have another winder that I have had for over 10 years and it runs more and is very noisy. This seems to be a good product so far. It ran overnight as described. I give it a 4 star because on larger watches 40 mm est. the lid will impede the winder but if you leave the lid open or prop it up a 1/2 inch it will run fine.So for the short term this seems to be a good winder and a good value. Great value. Very sturdy.
