Overall, the quality is great. It doesnt look or feel cheap. There are a few different options for the setup. Its sturdy. We love it. I really like being able to remove the ladder and hide it when my toddler is in the room. The only issues we have are with the directions and the shelves. The directions are all in picture form, which is fine for most steps, but some are confusing and could have used some written clarification. The shelves (not the framing of the shelves, but the flat panels that rest in the frame) are delicate compared to the rest of the bed and all came with broken corners, which is just disappointing, and could probably be avoided if the method of packaging were changed. As described would buy again.
