After reading all the reviews I was on the fence with this sofa. I ended up purchasing it because of the size and price. The things you need to do or understand about this sofa.
1. The directions suck. Make sure you have time to figure out a jigsaw puzzle.
2. There are two pieces that are labeled the same. Depending on what side your putting your chase youll figure out that one section might not line up with hole. Well you picked the wrong one unknowingly. I think it was the F piece but not totally sure.
3. Get 3 C clamps (Harbor Freight had them for 3 bucks) to connect chase and couch together and the long part of couch to the main part.
4.Last but the most important. CHANGE THE WASHERS!! They give you small metal ones and large plastic ones. Hop over to the hardware store and switch for metal. I even made the smaller metal ones a little bigger for extra support. (I have 2 rough teenage boys)
If you do these things the couch is great. Now it comes very firm but Ive had it for about a month and its comfy. It sits low so if youre tall it probably wont be comfortable. One of my boys have a 6ft friend and he was comfortable on it but hes also 13.
All in all I love it and looks great. For once all three of us can lounge on it without anyone having a foot up their nose!
