Sturdy, beautiful piece of furniture that was just short of a nightmare to assemble for the two middle-aged women who foolishly didnt start the project until 9pm the evening it was needed. Three-plus hours later, it was so worth the effort (and the resulting back pain).
One additional word of warning: The brakes on the trundle casters dont seem to work on hardwood floors. When pulled out, the trundle slides around like crazy, in part because it is NOT attached to the daybed frame. It fully slides out from under the daybed structure and acts as a standalone, low-to-the-ground mattress and bedframe. Im hoping an area rug will correct this slippery situation.
Assembly and crazy casters aside, I still highly recommend this product, especially with the 6-inch memory foam mattresses I also purchased from . As shown by my Photo 3, even my dog approves.
Great daybed. Stylish and sturdy/supportive.
