Looks solid, easy to assemble. I spent days researching these types of beds, as there are a lot of options out there. This is the loft bed I settled with, and it is worth every penny. My 12 year old son loves it! We originally intended to purchase the queen size, but due to size restrictions, we purchased the twin size. The twin size is still ample amount of space. We put up curtains, using a shower rod, to give my son a cooler environment for his gaming. I am only giving it 4 stars because the steps are brutal to your feet. We went with cutting pool noodles and duct taping them to the steps. It makes a world of difference. Assembly is definitely a 2 man/woman job.
