Very cute bed, and my 6 year old stepson loves it. He calls the bottom area the fort. However, I wouldnt say its premier quality, so just know that going in to the purchase. It took my husband hours to set it up. Already one of the window piece strings ripped (easy sewing fix though). It feels unsturdy and sways a little under significant weight. I can climb the ladder and lay on the bed, but I feel like it would break if my husband tried to do so. Definitely cant have kids jumping on this bed.
Also, FYI / doesnt come with a mattress. Probably a duh but we didnt realize it until it arrived. Too many parts. Assembly is a pain.
