Really well made, would buy again!!! Two hours and 20 minutes, a lot of frustration and swearing was what it took to put this together.
The frame comes in a badly packaged and extremely heavy box that damaged the stone entrance when the UPS man dropped this off. It was so heavy that I opened it up downstairs and carried the individual pieces upstairs. Moving the box is a two man job.
It has a million screws, an an L-shape hexagonal tool. The bed is all metal but for the 4 posters that are wood.
It is very frustrating to get this assembled. Sometimes the holes do no line up properly and I had to disassemble this twice just to flip the piece around to see if it would fit better. Sometimes, there was no way. I wanted to file off a hair off the metal piece. The other issue is that the L-shapes tool stopped working because it lost its shape.
The wooden slats Velcro in. I wish those were more secure. You wont need a box spring.
The wooden part and the metal parts both have some damage. Take a look at the pictures. It is hard to get that kind of damage on a metal part!
Sturdy bed but what a pain to put together!
