After a fruitless search for real (and expensive) counter chairs with leather seating, etc, I came upon these chairs for under $60. The colors were a great match for our kitchen, so I ordered one to see how bad a $60 chair would be. Overall, its not bad at all. Assembly was easy because the hardware was well labeled and the parts actually aligned. The whole chair is on the small side, but the seat height is perfect. Seating is a bit hard, but the fully upholstered seat will not scratch or dent my cabinets, and dismounting, as you swing over the cushion corner, is not uncomfortable. Its not a heavy chair, so it can be moved out of the way easily. After using it for a week or so, I ordered three more to complete my set. Now, after several weeks, Im going to order two more to keep boxed as backups because I know that either the price will have risen significantly or they will be discontinued just when I need a replacement. Id say you get more than you pay for with these chairs.
