Literally just googled it, I bought this for $230 and it is $150 on right now - just google rane. Disappointing that different listings on for the same thing vary so much, and that I didnt catch it before ordering.
Setup was very easy - literally just screw in the legs. It creaks a bit when I sit on it (Im 220 pounds) but otherwise feels pretty solid. The legs are set up in a way where none of it is supporting the middle of the sofa, but I want to use this until I move (in 8 months), so I have set up additional supports under the structural beams to hopefully increase the amount of weight able to go on one side or the other on this couch. It does look nice, otherwise.
Havent really used it yet, if it breaks or is fantastic Ill update but otherwise ... a pretty middling couch, really.
Two weeks in, and Ive sat on it for a little bit, as has my SO, and no issues at all. Pretty good so far. :)
Four months in - Im moving, and a few days ago something happened in my bedroom that made me not want to sleep in my bedroom for a few days.
So, a few things:
-The people complaining about how it feels for sleeping are right. Its not even that its rock hard, but that the middle of the couch has a giant bar in it thats pretty painful to sleep on. Im also tall, so I ended up having to lie on one side and sort of curl my legs into the other corner.
-That said ... its doable? Ive slept on it for a few days, and I couldnt imagine doing this long-term, but if you need a bed for a little while Ive done worse.
Ive also just generally been using this as a couch, and while its not very comfortable its also not extremely uncomfortable, and hasnt fallen apart yet at all (I actually cant really see any signs of use) ... so I think four stars is still fair. Though I wouldnt use this as a main couch if you can help it - Im replacing it with another as soon as I move, and will likely have this as some sort of ancillary seating/emergency bed space.
Cheaper elsewhere on , but a decent-looking couch
