Was looking for a regular frame which required a mattress support when discovered this type which allows placing mattress directly on the frame. Research shows several brands / styles with most being made same way. Then found this one with round legs and heavier materials doing away with the center leg on sides. Quality made, fairly easy assembly.
Update: Have used for a year now with no complaints. Cost more than most but by far the best heavy duty available. Have ordered another for main bed.
