The frame is two inches too long AND too wide. Meaning, your standard size queen mattress will be too small for the frame, leaving an inch gap on all sides of the mattress. The standard size bed skirt also of course doesnt fit. It looks bad, and the frame sticks out from the mattress, making toe stubbing more likely. You can also see in the picture that I had to Macgyver the standard queen size headboard to work, because the back legs are two inches in from the outer part of their frame, meaning the headboard doesnt line up.
