    Love the chair

    FedEx delivered the chair to the wrong address, about 1/4 of a mile from my house. Lucky for me, the people knew where I live and were kind enough to bring it to me. I was also told the FedEx person dropped the boxes from the truck to the ground, and then dragged them across the road to the house. There was a lot of damage to the boxes, I took pictures of them, just in case. The chair looks OK, just hope there was no damage to the internal workings. It took quite a bit of effort to put this chair together, it is very heavy. After struggling for over an hour, I did get it out of the box. ( Im 77 years old, it might be easier for a younger person) Once the base was in place, the rest was easy to put together. Instructions are lacking, I suppose its self-explanatory looking at the pieces. As Im sitting in the chair, testing the electrics, so far so good. I find it quite comfy. However, my feet are hanging over the footrest, Im 57. I had asked about this specific and I was told by two people, one 6 and one 62 they had no problem, it fits them well. Dont know what Im doing wrong, but my feet are hanging over the edge. The hook on the remote brook after one day of use. I believe this has happened because the boxes were dropped from the FedEx truck. I contacted house through , explained what happened. I received a completely new remote within 3 days. Im very impressed with customer service, they contacted me immediately, stayed in contact until the problem was solved. houseis an excellent company to do business with.
