My husband has hart failure and was having difficultly breathing. This chair made it easy for him to elevate his head when needed. It is extremely comfortable and now that he is much better, I still often find him sleeping in this chair. The fact that you can adjust the head and foot separately makes it possible to get everything perfect. He is a side sleeper and he often gets curled up on his side in the chair.
The chair is very heavy. That makes it super stable and I dont have to worry about it falling over. Our master bedroom is upstairs. It came in two boxes and we were able to get it up the stairs by unboxing the chair and taking each piece individually. The base was the most difficult, but the two of us got it the stairs without help from our young neighbors.
The box delivered by UPS was severely damaged and there was a small hole in one arm.
The seller responded quickly and gave me a partial refund. Im very happy with this purchase!
