Just what the doctor ordered for the elderly and disabled!!

I found this re?liner very comfortable, easy to assemble and exactly what Ive been looking for as a disabled senior on a fixed income. I think I died and went to heaven when I turned on the heat and vibration features!! Very easy to learn how the control works. You can choose between 5 minutes and 25 minutes, in 5 minute increments and it kills everything automatically when the timer expires. This is a great safety feature so you dont have to worry about accidentally leaving it on. One helpful hint; The controller cord is kind of short. Rather than having it come out the bottom or side of the chair, around the side and up over the armrest, run the cord up into the chair between the back and seat cushions so that the control comes through the back right corner of the chair. By doing this, you will gain several inches in length. Its easy to do. Remember what you learned in school: The shortest distance between two points is a straight line!! The electrical connections are pretty much foolproof. They are color coded and self-evident to understand. The up/down buttons can start/stop in infinite positions throughout the full range by simply taking your finger off the button. This is great to custom adjust yourself to your ideal position. For the price, I think its very reasonable for your own little slice of heaven on earth!! Update: I see many reviews that the recliner is too short for some people. If you are 57 or less, this re?liner will be suitable for you. Any taller, I would keep looking. A properly fitting re?liner for you will allow only your feet, (at your Achilles tendon ie. the back of your heel) to hang off the end of the chair when the footrest is up and you are sitting normally into the chair. ( No slouching!) Anything more, you need a re?liner designed specifically for big and tall people. This chairs weight limit is 300lbs. I am 265lbs and the chair lifts and lowers to a full recline smoothly and quietly. If you are over 275-285lbs, do not get this chair. Look for one with a higher weight limit. carries them up to a 500lb weight limit. The Massage feature is actually Vibration stimulation. It actually states VIBRATION in the heading of this advertisment. So pay attention to your consideration for this re?liner! Dont be disappointed when a masseuse doesnt appear when you turn it on!! I actually find it as advertised and very invigorating and relaxing throughout the day. The vibration function softly Buzzes but nothing annoying and is as I expected. It gets the blood pumping with your morning coffee or can lull you to sleep in the evening. The recliner arrived in perfect condition and was simple to put the 4 total pieces together. The two arms and back slide-lock into position on the base of the chair. You will notice an audible click when they lock into place by pushing forcefully down on the parts. Be sure to line up each side of each part together. In other words, do not slide one side on then try to get other side on. The left and right side of each part will only slide together simultaneously. If you lack common sense and know it, dont buy this chair! You will never even figure out how to get the 95lb base out of the box quickly, easily and without damaging it or yourself! Also, I would definitely invest the additional money and buy the furniture protection policy advertised with this re?liner in case you ever have a problem with it. I got the 5 year plan. The standard one year manufacturers warranty covers things like defects in workmanship, non-working, broken or missing parts etc. Products are supposed to function as intended at the time of purchase! If it doesnt, say something, or stop your complaining, its that simple! But the separate warranty policy covers everything from soup to nuts!! So dont worry, just be happy! So I have complete and total peace of mind for the next 5 years!! It was the smart thing to do. Save your boxes in case you ever have to send the re?liner back for servicing! I also recommend buying a properly fitting cover for your new re?liner. It will guarantee your re?liner will remain in pristine condition for a very long time to come. This re?liner is considered medium size with a 23 inch wide seat. Remember that if you want to get a properly fitting cover. So if you and graced with a larger behind, keep on looking for a big and tall re?liner! My cover has 6 pockets on the right side for all my remotes, cell phone and the controller for the recliner. It too, was a smart investment. By the way, a good quality cover will not diminish the heating function. Theres plenty of heat to be had for an aching back. It even radiates up your back into your shoulders. Most, if not all the negative reviews are from customers that were ill-prepared or over-expected in this re?liners price range. These types of re?liners are very expensive! Just dont over-expect for $550!! The staff was awesome to work with and took care of me completely from the time of ordering and shipping, to the time it was delivered to my door. They even followed my request to mark each of the two boxes; 1of 2 and 2 of 2, so they would be sure to stay together during shipping!! I am a very savvy and well informed consumer. If you follow my advice, you wont be disappointed in buying this re?liner!! Update: 5-4-21 I had an issue with my chair and I have to add a warning to my review. I thought this chair was built better than it actually is. One day I woke up from taking a nap in this chair, and like probably millions of us do, I stretched my body before bringing the chair upright again, and I heard and felt a pop from the left rear corner where the seat back connects to the base. I immediately inspected that corner and was very surprised to find that the seat back had broken right above this connection!! All I did was stretch for Gods sake!! Upon closer inspection I found no reinforcements at this critical stress point. Definitely a bad design flaw. I contacted and after trying to explain numerous times what happened, they finally understood once I sent them a video and pictures of the damage. Long story short, they sent me a new replacement seat back which I was just lucky they still had in stock that matched my chairs fabric. But what got me angry with customer service is that they apparently held shipping my package for a total of 5 days because, I figured out on my own having been in the warehousing business my whole life, they only ship their products out once a week in order to save themselves money on shipping charges. In other words, bulk shipping rates. That didnt bother me, I understood that. What pissed me off is they definitely lied to me when they claimed to have sent my shipment out, and when it actually was passed off to FedEx and it began its trip north to me. Im only in Michigan, they are in Georgia. We are not THAT far apart!! Because they held my package for 5 days to save money, then lied about that fact, it took a total of 10 days to reach me!! From Georgia, Im not in Alaska!! Had they just been honest with me and said, Gee, we have missed our cutoff time for outgoing shipments this week, but we will certainly send it out next Wednesday and you should have it by Monday. Instead, they passed the buck and blamed FedEx and Covid numerous times for the delay. Once FedEx did actually had possession of my package, it only took 5 days to reach me from Georgia. Had they been honest and just told me about their weekly shipping policy, I wouldve been fine with the timeframe. So beware, they dont make chairs like we do in the USA, and customer service, although basically nice and helpful, dont always tell their customers the full story!! So what did I learn from this experience?? Ill NEVER stretch in this chair again!! Jeff Stearns Whitehall, Michigan
