Time will tell how durable it is
Its nice having the extra storage, but my recommendation would be to make it about 2~4 inches taller to make the storage under the table a bit deeper. Most people I know that have similar tables in their living room and use it to store their throw blankets hell, I made a deep chest for that reason in our Deen! (Ill add a picture to show yll)
They things not only need to look nice, but to be usable, functional, and add comfort in our living spaces!
