I got this chair for my husky hubby who works from home and games for hours per day, all in all 12/15 hours per day in one chair.
I read reviews of possibly every chair on the internet rated for 350+ lbs and 12+ hours per day of use. Im glad I went with this one.
Assembly was annoying and took about 90 minutes. There were holes that didnt line up perfectly and portions that required two people: one to hold the pieces together and the other to rush bolts into the holes.
My husband loves the chair. Personally I find the seat depth to be too shallow, but he doesnt, so it may be a matter of my bubble butt taking up more room than the average user. If you have a flatter butt, probably no problem.
The arm rests are lower than either of us would like, even on the highest setting, so I got arm rest covers to add a couple inches of foam.
The metal frame is heavy and sturdy, and it doesnt drag the carpet when he sits down.
Added bonus, the metal frame means our dog has no interest in chewing on it, unlike the old plastic frame chair we had before.
The seat was stiff upon first use but has broken in with use, the same way a new mattress does. Not too much, I think this chair will last several years.
I like that the chair doesnt look too gamer chic while hes in it / no comments on zoom from co/workers about it being unusual.
Hes had the chair for about two months now and loves it to the point that hed rather use his chair than move to the couch. Id call this a success.
Great chair for husky nerds
