Bought it for my teen daughters room when we updated our no-longer-needed playroom into a bedroom, and it works perfectly for that space with only one window. Its very solid and sturdy without visually taking up a ton of space or blocking the light. It was easy to assemble- my daughter and I put it together in about 30 minutes. Its very strong and doesnt squeak or move at all when laying on it. We put a microfiber mattress from on it with nothing under it, and it works great. This bed is very tall, so we were able to fit 8 storage boxes (11 high) under the bed for out of season clothing storage also. (We bought king sized bedding to go to the floor on this bed frame to cover the storage boxes, so consider king sized bedding if you want that look.)
