I thoroughly enjoyed that this desk could be set up in an L shape in any direction, and even has instructions for making it just an extra long desk. Assembly is relatively easy, but I definitely advise that you read the instructions through several times and make VERY sure youve got the right pieces in order! It can be a little easy to mix up pieces and put things on backwards by accident, especially if youre not used to assembling furniture. The manual instruction booklet is still very coherent, clear and easy to follow with very clear illustrations that will show you what to do, and is very handy in backtracking and finding out where you messed up. The only thing lacking on the desk is any form of cable management and extra storage, but given the price point of the desk I was not expecting either of those specifically / just keep it in mind when youre assembling and choosing a spot for your desk! My desk is near a book shelf and that more than compensates for storage. Also mind that this desk is LARGE / which may be exactly what you want, but regard the space youre working with in your apartment or home when placing it!
