Pros: Pretty bed, main frame seems sturdy. Good space underneath. Metal support in middle adds good structure. Steps are nice and safer way into bed and provide a couple small storage spaces.
Cons: ASSEMBLY!!! Bolts and screws not labeled and difficult to correctly identify at first given the sizes and corresponding pictures on instructions. The slats were pretty genius and rolled out like a rope ladder, however the instructions said they should be flush with sides and that was impossible because my boards were short. No way for it to be even close to flush on both sides. The railing slats just fit into slotted pieces of wood very loosely until main portions bolted. They are so loose though that you have to line up everything and get all rails in their slot and hold it there long enough to screw in. 2 people would help but still be hard. Bedframe took about 2 hrs byself, stairs took 4 hrs! So many bolts and odd angles. Had mislabeled piece that threw me off and had to undo part of steps. Steps connect to main frame by screwing 5 metal hinges. This is difficult in practice to line everything up because there are no predrilled holes. You just eyeball it. Id rate the assembly worse/harder than I K E A furniture. Needs improvement in quality.
