Easily assembled with patience; suggest you have the photo printed out, because the instructions dont have it/it will avoid your making mistakes while wholeheartedly thinking youve followed the instructions perfectly. The assembled and folded bed fit/easily/in a compact station wagon and was carried up a few flights of stairs to its destination without pain or mishap. Some of the wood is a bit rough, but in general it looks great and is clearly sturdy.
